Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both lawyers. After relocating to Oxfordshire when she was five, she enrolled in The Dragon School. Emma's dream was to become an actor. At the age of six, she joined the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch, where she took classes for acting, singing and dancing. At the age of 10, she had already taken part in a variety of Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) The movie adaptation from J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for very first time back in the year 1999. Casting agents found Emma via her Oxford theater teacher.
