Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16, under the direction by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. As a teacher and musician she ha
