Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 1982. Maggie Grace is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. Born in Worthington Ohio, she dropped out of high school to move in Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. The actress landed her first part, as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001 despite struggling financially. In 2002, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. In 2004, Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she was a main actor for the first two seasons winning a Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace left the television series in 2005 to pursue an even more prominent role in films, having appeared alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress starred on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) were her reprises of these role. Grace played the role as Shannon for two additional episodes of Lost which included the finale of the series. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season that aired from 2013 until 2014. She is Faith as a girl who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the eye to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal family and is the younger sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens She began working as a small part-time actress for her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko with her sister. Later, she was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in both the action drama Sherrybaby (2005) and the romance comedy Secretary (2002). Both films received acclaim from critics. After several commercially successful films in 2006 including World Trade Center she received greater recognition for her performance as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). She was nominated in the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress due to her part in Crazy Heart, (2009). Her subsequent roles include Nanny McPhee as well as in the Big Bang and Hysteria. In addition to her role as an agent of the Secret Service agent, she also appeared in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014). Her most recent roles were the protagonist The Kindergarten Teacher The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal composed and directed her first film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The drama about psychological issues won the Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The Lost Daughter was also nominated for the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
